70% TO RAINFOREST EMERGENCY FUND
The biggest rainforest on earth is still burning and is being diminished rapidly. This is an environmental disaster of global proportions.
The Amazon rainforest is called “the lungs of the planet”. It is cleaning the air from pollution by inhaling carbon dioxide and exhaling oxygen. The rainforest is burning due to the dry season and fires started by humans. This is a threat to people living there, the wildlife, the eco- system and also accelerating the climate change.
The climate change is to a large amount caused by human actions. The excessive use of fossil fuels and the carbon dioxide pollution have a massive impact on the climate. The deforestation is also a big factor and by diminishing the forest we lose the natural buffers and the best tool to absorb carbon in the air.
Together, we can help!

Emergency fund for the Amazon rainforest
The rainforest can be preserved through actions by larger organizations. 100% of our donations will go directly to the response and recovery of the earths largest rainforest. WWF has formed an emergency fund to drive critical resources to the people at the front lines of the Amazon fires. This fund will focus on the areas in need where WWF has ongoing conservation work and partnerships with local organizations. They support the needs of indigenous and traditional communities and their efforts to secure the Amazon.
Activities include:
